The house, dating back to 1895, belonged to the great-grandfather of the owner’s family and was completely renovated in 2021. Both the owners andthe architects respected the original building while reflecting the tradition of the area and adapting to the needs of modern life. This traditional yet modern home perfectly captures the atmosphere of complete relaxation that every visitor seeks to find on vacation. The owners of the house wanted to marry their passion for the Aegean islands by blending the white of the Greek islands, with the deep olive green that dominates the Cretan landscape. And the result of this lovingly restored home is truly impressive!

Admire the view of the Cretan Mountains from your terrace as you gaze over the bell tower of the large church that’s central to village life. The house offers absolute tranquility as it is located in a very quiet neighbourhood of the village, chosen by many visitors from every corner of the globe. In summers the village squareis full of happy voices and songs while in winter locals and foreign visitors, many of whom have permanent residences in the area, become a large group enjoying the local delicacies and the local liqueur (tsikoudia) by the fireplace and on the wood stove.
